 Post subject: Spam in the forum

hi there,
in the last days i noticed a lot of spam on the forum. should we make a registration as an requirement for posting here?

if there is another way to get rid of the spam (capcha etc.) i would rather not make people register. that would constitute an entry barrier into the community. (could also be a positive thing in regard to loyalty if people needed to register).

but i agree, the spam is really f%&ยง$ing annoying

as you can do like on www.studivz.net you need to type a some letters when you want to do something (e.g. add people)
perhaps we can implement a solution like this, so a spambot will not be able to post here anymore..

the forum requires registration now. phpbb has a built in captcha for the registration process. lets see if that helps. i just deleted too many posts.

As the registration did not change anything, I renamed the profile and posting files. I hope this prevents the spam. I also switch back to non-registration mode.
